Top 20 accounting firm Eide Bailly is combining with Secore & Niedzialek, a CPA and tax planning firm based in Phoenix.
“We are delighted to join forces with Secore & Niedzialek,” Jeremy Hauk, CEO and managing partner of Eide Bailly, said in a press release. “The firm’s extensive track record and deep industry expertise make them the perfect complement to Eide Bailly. We have seen incredible growth in the Phoenix and Scottsdale markets recently. This combination will further build Eide Bailly’s brand and market depth in a thriving region.”
As part of the deal, co-founders Earl Secore and Ted Niedzialek and 10 staff from Secore & Niedzialek will join Eide Bailly.
“Ted and I are very excited to join forces with a national firm with similar values and client commitments,” said Secore, who established the firm with Niedzialek in 1986. “We look forward to continuing to provide the same level of service our clients have experienced over the past 38 years while gaining the ability to add a wider range of services to our clients. We are also excited for the career opportunities and growth for our valued employees.”
Allan Koltin, CEO of Koltin Consulting Group, who advised both firms on the merger, added, “Eide Bailly continues to find best-in-class and high-performing firms to join them. Secore & Niedzialek represents some of Arizona’s most wealthy and successful entrepreneurs, and combining with Eide Bailly was a perfect solution for their people and their clients.”
Since July, Fargo, ND-based Eide Bailly has also merged in Seattle CPA firm King & Oliason and California accounting firms Bessolo Haworth and Raimondo Pettit.
