Syracuse, NY-based accounting firm Bowers CPAs & Advisors has expanded its presence in Rochester after combining with Kasperski Dinan & Rink CPAs on Jan. 1.
Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. In a news release, Bowers’ Managing Partners Mike D’Avirro and Carl Austin said in a joint statement, “This strategic collaboration marks a significant milestone in our journey, combining both firms’ strengths, expertise, and resources. Together, we look forward to delivering enhanced services and even greater value to our clients. We are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and the synergies that will undoubtedly benefit our clients and stakeholders.”
Founded 20 years ago by Tracey Rink and Rick Kasperski, Kasperski Dinan & Rink CPAs has provided a wide range of services to such clients as real estate entities, printing, manufacturing, and construction companies, as well as businesses in the retail and high-tech industries.
“Joining Bowers will allow us to expand our operational capacity, along with providing additional resources to assist our current and future clients,” Kasperski said. “We see a deep value alignment with Bowers and a matched level of commitment to clients, service, and relationships that have guided our practice over the decades.
“Although our name was updated to Bowers CPAs & Advisors, Tracey and I will remain stationed at the office as partners, supporting our clients and our team as we enter a new era,” he added.
Established in 1977, Bowers CPAs & Advisors provides tax and audit, business valuation, accounting/bookkeeping, forensic accounting, and financial planning services to private and closely held businesses. The firm has 31 partners and a staff of more than 130 professionals spread throughout offices in Syracuse, Rochester, and Watertown, NY.
