What are you doing to make a difference in the profession, your community, the world?
It is an honor to empower the next generation of CPAs as an instructor for Surgent Accounting and Financial Education. My passion for education extends into speaking engagements at institutions like California State University, Los Angeles, where I was invited by Dr. Porschia Nkansa to contribute to her Financial Fitness Program, sharing key strategies from my book, “Debt-Free Before Graduation.” My mission extends beyond the boundaries of accounting to embody the pioneering spirit of Mary T. Washington Wylie, the first Black woman CPA, who opened doors for future generations of CPAs. My efforts are dedicated to continuing her vital work.
