John Malone is the Co-CEO of Anomaly. John’s unique background in operations from the legal industry has helped transform Anomaly to what it is today. His strong leadership and change management has allowed Anomaly to grow 250% since joining the company in 2021.  During that time, Anomaly reached #1185 on the Inc5000 Fastest Growing Company’s list for 2023. John has a passion for solving challenges that face the accounting industry today and presenting solutions that oftentimes go against the norm.   

What are you doing to make a difference in the profession, your community, the world?
John is an active participant in accounting industry groups, providing unique insights to firm owners of all sizes and collaborating with other non-accountant firm owners on how best to innovate in the industry.  With a belief that being an “Anomaly” in this industry is the goal, John and his Co-CEO, Greg O’Brien, look to stand out with a tech forward, unique approach and vision that is shared by all team members, wherever they may be.  Outside of the firm, John cherishes raising his two young children with his wife, Kelly and is an active leader in his Church community.
