Career Highlights

Mark’s passion to advance the relevance of external audit services has driven Inflo’s impressive global growth to date. Since leaving PwC Mark has established Inflo as a disruptive challenger to the large, established technology vendors supporting CPA firms. The launch of Inflo’s innovative workpapers product and comprehensive Digital Audit methodology content has allowed accounting firms to transform the efficiency, quality, and value of their audit services through intelligent automation wielding emerging technologies.

In the past year Mark worked closely with leaders of several of the largest US CPA firms to form progressive partnerships which will overhaul and future-proof their core audit technologies. Mark spearheaded Inflo’s expansion – moving to the US in 2023, presenting at several accounting conferences, and building a team of subject matter experts. The Inflo platform and impact has been recognized by CPA Practice Advisor, Accounting Today, the International Accounting Bulletin, and Deloitte Fast-50 awards.

What are you doing to make a difference in the profession, your community, the world?
Mark is involved with several high-impact initiatives to advance the relevance of audit, and the accounting profession. Mark was the brains behind an innovative education partnership to embed practical teaching of emerging technology skills within the accounting qualification in the UK, leveraging the Inflo platform within student examinations. Mark provides technology expertise to the IAASB to support with updating and developing new auditing standards. Mark also led the AICPA’s cross-party collaboration to develop new Audit Data Standards, supporting profession-wide development of new technologies.
