Recent Career Highlights
In the previous year, I had the privilege of speaking at various conferences and events such as the AICPA & CIMA/CIIPA Momentum Conference and the Ignite Conference hosted by The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. (IIA). Additionally, I have proudly taken on the responsibility of serving as a volunteer committee member for the AICPA Academic Executive Committee and AICPA Foundation Board of Trustees. Recently, I have transitioned into a Senior Program Manager role with Amazon, where I focus on driving Finance Automation Acceleration.

What are you doing to make a difference in the profession, your community, the world?
In addition to my regular work responsibilities, I am actively involved in my nonprofit organization called FinLiteracy. This organization focuses on delivering financial literacy programs to students in grades K-12, with the aim of addressing the financial disparities present in economically disadvantaged communities. Furthermore, I work as an adjunct professor at a local university where I teach Intro to Accounting. My passion for teaching stems from my desire to expose my students to the practical applications of accounting in real life scenarios, and showcase the diverse range of career opportunities within this field.
