Cohen & Co. Admits 7 to Partnership
The top 50 firm announced its new partner class for 2024 on June 6, as well as two new members of its board of managers.

Top 50 accounting firm Cohen & Co. announced its new partner class for 2024 on June 6, as well as two new members of its board of managers.
“We are proud each year to recognize and welcome our new partners and board members, all deserving in their own unique way,” Chris Bellamy, CEO of Cleveland-based Cohen & Co., said in a statement. “They lead not only within our firm but also in our marketplaces and communities and are true examples of the best and brightest our industry has to offer.”
The seven newest partners at Cohen & Co. are:
- Kelly Anzevino, Tax, Youngstown, OH
- Ryan Boylan, Assurance, Akron, OH
- Dave Gonano, Tax, Baltimore
- Lisa Long, Tax, Milwaukee
- Jeffrey McMichael, Tax, Detroit
- Jonathan Williamson, Tax, Akron, OH
- Stacey Wilson, Assurance, Denver
Nominated and voted on by the accounting firm’s ownership group, board members serve staggered three-year terms. The board has important fiduciary responsibility relating to a variety of oversight matters, the firm said.
The two newest board members are:
- Joe Falbo, a tax partner in the Buffalo, NY, office. Falbo leads the firm’s High Net Worth Group, where he advises high-net-worth individuals and private companies as they navigate issues related to corporate tax planning, entity selection and structuring, and wealth preservation and transfer.
- Mike McGivney, a tax partner in the Cleveland office. McGivney’s principal areas of expertise are advising privately owned businesses, overseeing tax planning and compliance, and participating in transaction structuring. He works with businesses that have a strong emphasis in real estate, tax credits and incentives, private equity and business services.
In addition, board incumbent Dave Sobochan was re-elected to the board for another term. Additional board members include Tina Dzik, Adam Hill, Jim Kaiser, Marcy Kempf, Josh Lefcowitz, Kim Palmer, and Justin Thomas. CEO Chris Bellamy holds a permanent position on the board.
