Thousands of small business technology experts, consultants, and everyday Intuit users gathered at the Aria Casino and Resort in Las Vegas starting on Monday for Intuit Connect, the company’s annual user and advisor conference. Conference activities centered around small business practices, advisory services, professional tax services, and accounting firm management will be held from October 28-30, 2024.
Sessions this year focus on accounting practice fundamentals, client advisory and CFO services, accounting and tax workflows, leadership and soft skills, firm growth, and technology. Professionals can earn up to 12 hours of continuing professional education (CPE) credits for participation in a variety of fields of study and learning levels.
Intuit Connect 2024, focusing on the solutions and partners of the world’s largest maker of business operations and management technologies for small and mid-sized businesses, as well as personal finance apps, will include breakout sessions, workshops, and group sessions on the latest business trends, spotlights on new Intuit solutions, and an active exhibit hall with Intuit partner vendors. Intuit is the maker of QuickBooks, several professional tax solutions, TurboTax, Credit Karma and Mailchimp, and has more than 100,000 customers worldwide.
Keynote speakers on opening day will include award-winning performer Leslie Odom, Jr., author and speaker Priya Parker, surfer Mark Matthews, and Sasan Goodarzi, CEO of Intuit. NBA basketball legend Magic Johnson had been slated as as the premier keynote speaker, but as a current co-owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers, had to reschedule due to the Dodgers currently taking on the New York Yankees int he 2024 MLB World Series.
Scheduled to address the conference in the afternoon, Goodarzi became CEO in 2019, and has since declared Intuit’s strategy to be an AI-driven expert platform with data and artificial intelligence fueling innovation across the company. Under his leadership, Intuit has transformed from a tax and accounting platform to the global financial technology platform.
Additional events over the three-day event will include opportunities for attendees to learn business strategies, hands-on best-practices on a variety of business technology, networking events, and insights on business growth.
