“Outsourced accounting is one of the fastest-growing services Citrin Cooperman offers its clients,” Dan Shaughnessy, president of advisory for Citrin Cooperman Advisors, said in a statement. “We are lucky to be able to add such a great group of professionals and clients that align so closely to what we are building to help improve the businesses and lives of our collective clients.”

This is the seventh transaction private equity-backed Citrin Cooperman has made this year. Other firms it has acquired include Coleman Huntoon & Brown in Chapel Hill, NC; Mibar in New York City; Keefe McCullough & Co. in Fort Lauderdale, FL; Maier Markey & Justic in White Plains, NY; S&G LLP in Worchester, MA; and Teplitzky & Co. in Woodbridge, CT.

Founded in 2008, Signature Analytics provides outsourced accounting and strategic financial solutions to midsized companies that need more clarity from their financial data, the firm says on its LinkedIn profile.

“This combination with Citrin Cooperman Advisors LLC is a perfect fit for the next step in the Signature Analytics journey,” Jason Kruger, Signature Analytics’ founder and president, and Pete Heald, the firm’s CEO, said in a joint statement. “The alignment between culture and professional service could not be stronger. We can’t wait to get started.”
