Fintech company Rho has introduced the Rho Partner Portal, a version of Rho designed for its accountant partners.
In one central platform, accountants can quickly onboard new clients, manage their cash and spend, and easily provision permissions across staff.
“The Rho Partner Portal delivers the cash and spend management experience that Rho customers love, with the added benefit of providing accounting firms a consolidated view of their entire book of business,” Rho says in a blog post.
Key features include:
- Easy team provisioning and role-based access management: Manage team access to client accounts with fixed roles for security and efficiency.
- Streamlined client management: Request client account access, set user permissions, and manage connections from a single dashboard.
- Simplified client onboarding: Invite clients to Rho and track status with real-time updates for onboarding clients with minimal friction.
The New York City-based company said it designed this version of Rho to solve a few key challenges accountants experience when using finance automation solutions on the market today, such as:
- Team access provisioning: Rho said it has heard directly from its accounting partners just how challenging it can be to provision users in and out of client accounts as staffing changes, especially if they can’t self-serve the process.
- Poor client onboarding experiences: Accounting firms need a simple and repeatable way to get their clients onboarded to the solution they are recommending. First touches and experiences are critical for trust between the accounting firm, accountant, and client. Errors or lack of guidance in the onboarding phase start a relationship on a weak note.
- Data security concerns: Both accounting firms and their clients want to ensure that data is protected during the onboarding process and that the right permissions are granted at the onset without having to chase specific people or reuse shared credentials that are vulnerable to exploitation.
