Ankura Taps Industry Veteran Regina Lee to Lead Risk, Forensics & Compliance (RF&C) Business Globally

Leading global expert services and advisory firm Ankura Consulting Group, LLC (“Ankura”) recently announced the appointment of Regina Lee as the Global Leader of its Risk, Forensics & Compliance business.   

Ms. Lee has more than 25 years of experience leading successful teams at global consulting firms. Her impressive background encompasses a wide range of expertise, including fraud investigations, bankruptcy-related disputes and investigations, mass tort and securities litigation, and post-transaction disputes.  Most recently, Lee served as Global Co-Leader of the Strategy & Analysis Practice at AlixPartners.

 Brown Plus Welcomes New Team Members

Leading accounting and advisory firm,Brown Plus, recently announced the addition of four new team members to its office in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania:

Devin Brown, CPA, MBA, rejoins Brown Plus as an Audit Senior Manager. He specializes in providing audit and review services to nonprofit organizations, local governments and school-related entities. We’re excited to welcome Devin back to Brown Plus!

Taylor Guarente, CPA, joined Brown Plus as an Audit Supervisor specializing in accounting and auditing services for the insurance industry. She graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Loyola University.

Patrick McKinney joined Brown Plus as an Audit Associate and specializes in providing audit services to for-profit entities. He received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh, as well as a Master’s degree in Logistics Management from New York Maritime College and a Master’s degree in Accounting from Pennsylvania Western University.

Nicole Wilkinson joined Brown Plus as an Administrative Assistant. She graduated from Mount Aloysius College.

Grant Thornton hires two new leaders

Grant Thornton, one of America’s largest brands of professionals providing end-to-end audit, assurance, tax and advisory services, announced two new leaders. 

  • Nathan Dreyfus, Silicon Valley
    • After trading the music industry for a career in consulting, Dreyfus – a San Francisco State grad – joined Grant Thornton in 2005.
    • For nearly 20 years, he’s primarily worked alongside technology companies in the Bay Area.
    • In his new role, he’ll lead audit, tax and advisory professionals in Grant Thornton’s San Jose office.
  • Jeff Strassman, Boston
  • He has a deep familiarity with the market, having worked in the Boston office since 2006
  • He was most recently Grant Thornton’s Manufacturing industry leader in Boston
  • He also has a lot of experience in industries like life sciences, healthcare and services
  • He’s a Bentley University grad and was a longtime board member with the Center for Teen Empowerment in Boston

Grant Thornton grows Workday practice leadership team

Grant Thornton, one of America’s largest brands of professionals providing end-to-end audit, assurance, tax and advisory services, recently appointed Greg Davis to lead the firm’s Workday practice. Grant Thornton has also enhanced its Workday leadership team with the addition of Andrew (Drew) Houts, who joins the firm with nearly a decade of Workday ecosystem leadership experience.

Since 2019, Grant Thornton has teamed up with Workday (NASDAQ: WDAY), a leader in enterprise cloud applications for finance and human resources. The firm became a Workday Services Partner in 2023, based on its success deploying the Workday platform for clients — and its ability to help clients use the platform to connect functions and capabilities in areas ranging from accounting and planning to human capital and analytics. 

For more than a decade, Davis has been a principal within Grant Thornton’s Technology Modernization practice, most recently serving as the global leader of the firm’s award-winning JD Edwards practice.
