San Jose, CA-based PP&Co. (Petrinovich Pugh & Co.) said that fellow San Jose-based CPA practice Delucchi Hawn has joined the top 300 accounting firm, effective Dec. 1.
Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. PP&Co. has added 14 professionals, including three partners, as part of the deal. The Delucchi Hawn team will continue to serve its clients under the PP&Co. brand.
The transaction combines the resources, technical expertise, and talent of two regional accounting leaders noted for their people-first cultures and commitment to service excellence, PP&Co. says in a media release.

By joining forces with Delucchi Hawn, we are not only expanding our capabilities but also reinforcing our commitment to exceptional client service and deepening our investment in nurturing an environment where our people will thrive,” PP&Co. CEO Phuong Mayer said in a statement.
Founded in 1981, Delucchi Hawn provides tax, assurance, and advisory services to clients in the construction, real estate, software, and manufacturing industries.

PP&Co. is a partner firm on the Ascend platform, backed by private equity firm Alpine Investors. Ascend’s platform enables regional accounting firms to remain independent while accessing the resources and technology of a larger firm.
