The Bonadio Group Promotes Two New Partners
The Bonadio Group, a nationally ranked IPA Top 50 CPA Firm, recently announced the partner promotions of Amanda Della Sala and Andrew Borowski, effective January 1, 2025. Amanda and Andrew will join the ranks of more than 100 existing partners at The Bonadio Group.
Amanda Della Sala, Advisory & Consulting: With over 13 years of non-profit industry experience, Amanda has developed strong expertise in financial reporting, process improvements, accounting and finance best practices and utilizes these skill sets to help her clients achieve their goal of sound financial management. Amanda is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and serves as a board member for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Rochester.
Andrew Borowski, Small Business Advisory: Andrew joined The Bonadio Group in 2013 as a Senior Accountant. He assists his clients in financial statement compilations, individual and business tax planning and preparation, payroll issues, multi-state sales and use tax analysis and compliance and computer advisory services. Andrew is a Certified Public Accountant and serves as Treasurer for the Rotary Club of East Aurora.
Also new to The Bonadio Group’s partnership are the following leaders from Delaware-based CPA advisory firm, Cover & Rossiter:
Marie Holliday, Regional Managing Partner, Mid-Atlantic Region: In her new role, Marie will focus on bringing The Bonadio Group culture to the Wilmington office and the Delaware Valley community. She has over 30 years of experience in public accounting, and her extensive experience in tax compliance and tax planning has allowed her to assist many clients in addressing a wide variety of tax situations.
Peter Kennedy, Assurance: With over 30 years of accounting experience, Pete will help lead The Bonadio Group’s Assurance client service in Wilmington, DE. He has spent the past 25 years honing his expertise in nonprofit accounting, auditing, and tax issues, and works with several of Delaware Valley’s leading nonprofit institutions. He currently serves as treasurer for the Delaware Community Foundation and Delaware College Scholars.
Jennifer Pacilli, Small Business Advisory: Jennifer will serve as a partner in the Wilmington, DE office, where she will work with several of the firm’s corporate, individual, and international clients to address their tax compliance and advisory needs. With over 30 years of public accounting experience, Jennifer utilizes her extensive knowledge to be a passionate advocate for clients. She is a board member for the Recruiting Committee of the Rowan University Rohrer College of Business Accounting Advisory Board.
Shumway & DeWidt Named Tax Partners at Tanner LLC
January 7, 2025) —Tanner LLC, a firm providing audit, tax, transaction advisory, technology, cybersecurity, strategic planning, and leadership development services recently announced that Charley Shumway and Steve DeWidt have been named Tax Partners of the firm.
Charley Shumway brings nearly 30 years of experience in tax and consulting services, specializing in multi-tiered partnerships, LLCs, private equity and venture capital-backed companies, and family-owned businesses. His expertise includes tax planning, complex partnership cash waterfall analysis, income allocations, reorganizations, liquidations, partnership formations, and deal structuring.
Before joining Tanner, Charley gained valuable experience at a Big 4 accounting firm as well as smaller local and regional firms. He earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in accounting from Southern Utah University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Steve DeWidt has nearly 13 years of public accounting experience, serving clients in industries such as technology, manufacturing, and life sciences. He has worked extensively on federal and state income tax compliance, merger and acquisition transactions, and international tax issues. At Tanner, Steve focuses on corporate tax and accounting for income taxes under ASC 740.
Prior to joining Tanner, Steve worked in the biotechnology and healthcare industries for more than eight years. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in molecular biology from Brigham Young University and a Master of Accounting degree with a tax emphasis from the University of Utah. Steve is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants.

Cami Grimm, CPA, was promoted to Audit Senior Manager. Cami has over seven years of public accounting experience and specializes in providing audit and review services to for-profit businesses across a variety of industries. Cami received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University. She is located at the Brown Plus office in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.
Ryan Perez, CPA, was promoted to Audit Senior Manager. He has over nine years of experience in public accounting and specializes in providing audit services to insurance companies and employee benefit plan clients. Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Elizabethtown College. He is located at the Brown Plus office in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.
Kyle Bushong, CPA, MBA, was promoted to Audit Manager. CLA Announces Several New Additions to Leadership Team
CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen LLP) recently announced several significant adjustments to the firm’s leadership team and regional management. These changes went into effect on Jan. 1, 2025 and reflect CLA’s commitment to growth and its focus on succession planning by providing new opportunities across the firm.
Among the changes are two additions to the firm’s leadership team. CEO Jen Leary has appointed James Watson as Chief Solutions Officer and Paul Bailey as Chief Growth Officer. Watson most recently served as managing director of solutions and prior to that, as regional managing principal (RMP) for the Northeast region. Bailey moved into a growth role in 2024, after having served the firm as regional managing principal for the Western US.
CLA is also elevating these other leaders to roles of increasing responsibility:
- Kirthi Mani has been named Chief People Officer. Mani most recently served as managing principal of the New York Gateway office in downtown Manhattan. In this newly created role, Mani will have accountability for people solutions, connections teams and internal communications and public relations.
- Josh Enger has been named Chief Outsourcing Officer. Enger has held numerous leadership roles, from managing principal of transportation and logistics to managing principal of the Minneapolis office and RMP of the Midwest region.
- Chastity Wilson has been named Chief Tax Officer. Wilson has served CLA in numerous capacities, most recently as managing principal of quality. As Chief Tax Officer, she will oversee the firm’s tax initiatives and direct growth opportunities well also helping drive awareness of new tax initiatives at a local and federal level.
- Kelli Roberts was named RMP of the Sunbelt region, which includes offices in Georgia, Florida, Texas, North Carolina and more. Roberts previously held the position of MPO of the Triad office in North Carolina.
CLA Announces New Appointments in Regional, Local Leadership Roles
CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen LLP) recently announced new roles and changes to the firm’s regional and local leadership across the country. The changes are part of CLA’s commitment to inspired careers, elevating individuals into positions of increasing responsibility, while providing opportunities to gain additional experience across industries and services.
One of the more significant updates is bringing together the Eastern Midwest region, which includes offices in Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania and more, into the Midwest region, which includes offices in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Nebraska, to name a few. Melissa Yoder, who has been the regional managing principal (RMP) of the Eastern Midwest region, will assume leadership of the expanded Midwest region. Josh Enger, previously RMP of the Midwest, was named Chief Outsourcing Officer last week.
Other changes announced this week include:
- Jill Bosco was named the MPO of the Massachusetts offices. Bosco, who previously served as Chief Tax Officer, assumes this new role as part of CLA’s dedication to providing diverse leadership opportunities.
- Elly Barrineau, who recently served as Chief Consulting and Outsourcing Officer, has been named the MPO of the North Carolina offices. Her extensive experience in leading the firm’s consulting and outsourcing services positions her perfectly to drive success and innovation in this growing region.
- Beth Knight has been named managing director of CLA’s newly formed Meeting and Events Experience Team (MEET). This new function within CLA is part of the firm’s announced opening of three new Connections Centers in 2025.
- Other leadership changes announced this past week:
- Lisa Richmond has been named managing principal of the St. Louis office.
- Mary Short has been named managing principal of the Sacramento office.
- Nicola Bain has been named managing principal of the New Jersey/New York Metro office.

Monahan received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Indiana University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
