The Financial Accounting Standards Board on Wednesday announced the appointment of four new members to its Not-for-Profit Advisory Committee, effective immediately.

As a resource for the FASB, the NAC obtains input from the not-for-profit sector on existing financial reporting guidance, current and proposed technical agenda projects, and longer-term or pervasive financial reporting matters affecting those organizations.

The new NAC members are:

  • Christina Dutch, Partner, National Office, PwC US
  • Jennifer Hoffman, Partner and National Leader, Not-for-Profit and Higher Education Audit Practices, Grant Thornton
  • Diane Manning, Northeast Industry Lead, Not-for-Profit and Higher Education, Capital One
  • Pete Ugo, Partner and National Leader, Not-for-Profit and Higher Education Audit Practices, Crowe.

Each new member was appointed to a four-year term ending on Dec. 31, 2028.

“The four new members of the NAC bring to the group a significant amount of professional experience in the not-for-profit sector—Christina, Jennifer, and Pete as practitioners, and Diane as a financial statement user,” FASB Chair Richard Jones said in a statement. “I’m pleased to welcome them to their roles and look forward to their insights on standard-setting issues affecting not-for-profit stakeholders.”

Three NAC members concluded their service on Dec. 31, 2024: John Alfonso, CohnReznick; Tina Dzik, Cohen & Co.; and Christine Terhark, Deloitte & Touche.

“John, Tina, and Christine served their NAC terms with distinction, providing valuable input, from a not-for-profit perspective, on FASB projects and initiatives,” Jones said. “We appreciate their years of service and thank them for supporting our work to develop standards that provide financial statement users with information they will use in their decisions.”
