Ignition names former SiteMinder senior HR leader as SVP of People & Culture as it scales globally

Ignition, the leading revenue operations platform for services-based businesses, recently appointed Bec Donnelly as the company’s Senior Vice President, People & Culture (P&C), as it continues to bolster its executive leadership team. 

Donnelly, who joins from SiteMinder, a public company worth more than $1 billion, will help Ignition continue to scale the organization globally, and drive productivity through building high performing teams.

Rightworks Names Buchholz as CFO

Rightworks, the only intelligent cloud services provider purpose-built for accounting firms and professionals, recently announced that it has named Jenny Buchholz as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective February 3, 2025.

Reporting to CEO Joel Hughes, Buchholz will lead the finance function as the company continues to expand into new markets and deliver its award-winning OneSpace platform at scale. In her role, Buchholz will support the company’s goals and strategic initiatives with her extensive financial experience in strategy, governance and risk management.

Buchholz joins Rightworks with more than two decades of experience in senior finance leadership roles. She recently held the position of CFO at Cisive, a global background screening firm, where she built out FP&A capabilities, implemented rigorous forecasting and KPI reporting, and led integration efforts for acquired companies. Buchholz earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois and an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.

Brown Plus Welcomes Patrick Rogers as Tax Principal and Research & Development Director

Leading accounting and advisory firm, Brown Plus, has recently welcomed Patrick Rogers, EA, MST, as Tax Principal and Research & Development (R&D) Director. In this role, Pat will lead Brown Plus’ R&D Tax Credit Practice, in alignment with the Firm’s increased focus on expanding its advisory services to meet continuously evolving client needs.

 As R&D Director, Pat will lead and expand upon Brown Plus’ R&D Tax Credit Practice, helping organizations accurately identify eligible R&D activities, allocate expenses and ensure the credit is properly claimed for current and prior tax years.

Pat brings a wealth of experience to Brown Plus, with over 17 years served in public accounting. He specializes in providing R&D Tax Credit consulting, tax and project management services. Prior to joining Brown Plus, Pat was a leading member of a national R&D Tax Credit practice in an accounting and advisory firm and worked at a ‘Big Four’ accounting firm.

Pat is highly active with numerous professional associations within the accounting community, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA); the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA); the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA); and the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP).

Pat received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a focus in Accounting, from Widener University. He also earned his Master of Science in Taxation (MST) from William Howard Taft University and his Lean Six Sigma certification from Villanova University.
