Houston-based McConnell Jones, the largest majority African American-owned and controlled public accounting firm in the U.S., has acquired Taylor CPA & Associates, a firm with offices in Columbus and Atlanta in Georgia.
Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
Led by partner and founder William A. Taylor Jr., TCPA provides tax, accounting, wealth-creation, and consulting services to its clients in 21 states across various industry sectors.

McConnell Jones is a top 250 accounting firm in the U.S. by revenue, according to INSIDE Public Accounting, bringing in just under $20 million during its most recent fiscal year.
