Sage North America, provider of business management software and services for small and midsized businesses, recently announced CAP Software has joined its Sage ISV Partner Program. Based in Fort Worth, Texas, CAP Software provides point-of-sale software and hardware to small and midsized specialty retailers.

As a partner in the Sage ISV Program, CAP Software will integrate its retail POS software with Sage Exchange, Sage’s Payment Card Industry-compliant integrated payments platform. Through the integration, users will be able to securely process PCI-compliant credit and debit card transactions, while linking to their Sage accounting and ERP systems.

“CAP Software is partnering with Sage to simplify the lives of our resellers and customers by providing an integrated payment processing solution that shifts the burden of PCI compliance from our POS software to the Sage Exchange platform,” said Will Atkinson, president of CAP Software. “We also hope to provide additional value to our customers by leveraging the leadership of Sage in the accounting and ERP space.”

The Sage ISV Partner Program gives software developers the opportunity to integrate their products using the Sage Exchange toolkit, providing their customers with a more seamless end-user experience. Sage Exchange also offers integration with Sage accounting and ERP products, as well as a suite of connected services and solutions. The Sage Payment Solutions professional services team provides software developers with integration support throughout the entire process. Products from certified Sage Payment Solutions ISV partners are also listed on the Sage Partner Solution Source.
