Bennett Thrasher Welcomes Kevin Moyer as Midwest Business Development Leader for Transaction Advisory Services
ATLANTA, Sept. 10, 2024 – Bennett Thrasher, a nationally acclaimed full-service accounting and advisory firm headquartered in Atlanta, is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Moyer as its midwest business development leader for Transaction Advisory Services (TAS). In this role, Moyer will be fundamental in enhancing the TAS practice’s go-to-market strategy, and specifically focused on expanding the firm’s reach with private equity and strategic investors in the Midwest.
Moyer has a unique background in the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) sector. He previously served as a partner and TAS practice leader at SAX LLP, a top 100 public accounting firm. In this role, Moyer was charged with overall practice development strategy and delivery of client related services. He advised private equity and corporate clients on financial and operational due diligence engagements, performance improvement initiatives and turnaround and restructuring mandates.
Moyer also spent time at EY-Parthenon in the Transaction Strategy & Execution group. In that capacity, Moyer mainly advised on sell and separate engagements where he executed on preparation, readiness, and diligence on carve-outs, spin-offs, and divestitures for leading private equity firms and blue-chip strategic clients. Moyer also has hands-on M&A experience working in-house on the deal team at a large public company as well as in a family office setting, holding roles in corporate development at Paychex and on the investment team at Simon Group Holdings.
