Kevin Cumley – vice president of strategic alliances for Abila and board chair at the Information Technology Alliance (ITA), and also chair of the young leadership committee at ITA. Cumley tells CPA Practice Advisor about the young leadership committee, what it is, and how younger people are being targeted for members at ITA. ITA doesn't just talk about young leaders – the organization provides a one-year training program for future leaders. Participants in the Young Leadership Program learn leadership fundamental concepts and create a personal leadership plan that they work on for the year. Approximately half of the participants are consultant resellers, VARs, other the half are CIOs and their teams from top 30 CPA firms.
