Track1099, which makes online wage reporting and delivery systems, has introduced TrackW9, the first online Form W-9 management tool designed for tax professional teams. As part of the move to paper-free, collaborative back offices, TrackW9 helps streamline the processes involved in collecting accurate and IRS-compliant vendor information.

Responding to customer requests, TrackW9 gives companies the power to request W-9 forms online and offers complete visibility into their status, eliminating cumbersome faxing and emailing processes.

“By offering clients the ability to request and manage their vendor W-9s completely on the web, TrackW9 takes the hassle out of tracking and confirming vendor information,” Sharon Lindsey West, CEO of Track1099, announced on Wednesday.

Leslie Jorgensen, president of Supporting Strategies, said, “We are always seeking great technology to help us to automate our clients’ accounting-related tasks. Track1099 is a great example of where we were able to plug in a tool to greatly reduce the time our team takes to deliver on IRS-related solutions.”

The TrackW9 dashboard shows complete W-9 statuses, enabling streamlined management of a company’s vendor information. Companies may transfer PDF or CSV records into their accounting software.

Vendors receive a secure, personalized email requesting that they fill out an online W-9 on the TrackW9 website, including a touch e-signature.

TrackW9 is free through February 2015, offering easy integration with Track1099’s online 1099-MISC e-filing service.
