Digital filing and management provider FileThis Pro has launched new integration with SmartVault, a provider of online document storage and secure file sharing solutions. The integration allows accountants to save time, reduce tax preparation time, and automate bookkeeping workflow, the company said.
FileThis Pro gives accountants a revolutionary new way to automatically collect their clients’ taxes and financial statements, offering an easy to use service that works like a personal assistant. It fetches bank statements, bills, and tax related documents from over 400 institutions, converts them into text-searchable PDF files, and delivers them to central storage locations like Google Drive, Dropbox, and now SmartVault.
By integrating FileThis Pro with SmartVault, accountants can now automate the most time consuming part of their daily job: gathering and finding missing client documents and statements. Instead of uploading source files manually, FileThis Pro sends them directly to a client’s folder in SmartVault, where accountants can easily process them to QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, or Xero.

For accountants, bookkeepers, and other tax pros, this means the ability to obtain multiple client statements and bills at once, pre-schedule their work and load levels, and know when monthly or end-of-year documents will arrive.
