Bloomberg BNA has released its 2016 Federal Tax Guide, a quick reference guide developed to aid tax practitioners and professionals in the preparation of 2015 individual and business tax returns and 2016 planning. It is available online from BNA and in print and as part of the Bloomberg BNA Tax and Accounting Center. It can also be ordered .
“The Federal Tax Guide is twice as thick, and ten times as content rich as any other quick reference tax guides that I have used over the past 40 years of professional tax practice,” said George Prytula of Professional LLC in Orlando, Florida.
The Federal Tax Guide offers coverage of a wide range of timely topics most important to tax practitioners as they prepare 2015 returns and plan for the year ahead with new content on health care reform, including individual and employer mandates, applicable penalties, and individual and employer tax credits. It reflects new IRS rules and procedures announced this year as well as new tax-related legislation relating to filing requirements and penalty provisions. The Federal Tax Guide provides quick access to succinct explanations of tax law, supported by practical examples, schedules, tables, and references to the award-winning Tax Management Portfolios.
“Practitioners can turn to Bloomberg BNA for timely and insightful resources they can use for their preparation and planning needs to make more informed decisions,” said George Farrah. “As with our inaugural edition, we provide more practical examples and more detailed coverage of topics than any other information resource of its kind.”
