Users of Sage MAS 90 and MAS 200, take note. If you’re looking for a
reliable point-of-sale product that integrates with your inventory management,
GL, bank reconciliation, sales order, AR, and credit card processing modules,
be sure to take a look at Point of Sale Professional by HighTower.

HighTower’s Point of Sale Professional provides several advantages for
current MAS 90/200 users. An easily navigated user interface allows users to
choose the MAS 90/200 modules with which they wish to integrate, as well as
regular system setup. And with the back office data already set up in MAS 90/200,
setting up the POS module will be relatively quick.

HighTower’s Point of Sale Professional allows users to configure multiple
locations for a single retail business, easily track vital information such
as customer purchasing habits and salesperson commission totals, and also provides

transaction screen. New features found in the latest version include the ability
for supervisors and managers to view unencrypted customer credit card numbers;
the availability of new, monthly recap reports; and the ability to print all
voided transactions. HighTower also offers new functionality to the latest version
of Point of Sale Professional with its Gift Card Expansion pack.

HighTower’s POS solution is also suitable for nonprofit organizations,
rental agencies and service companies. Tracking and reporting options are solid,
with the ability to see which cash registers are online at any given moment.
Recap reports provide managers with excellent information including tracking
customer spending habits, tracking rewards or customer loyalty cards, and receipt
totals. HighTower’s Point of Sale Professional integrates with Crystal
Reports for more custom reporting capability and will also integrates with all
the necessary hardware peripherals including pole displays, credit card processors,
barcode scanners and cash drawers.

Priced at $2,995 plus license fees, HighTower’s Point of Sale Professional
is an excellent solution for retailers already running MAS 90/200 that wish
to expand their POS capability while retaining their current back office software.
