National Association of Enrolled Agents Installs 2019-2020 Board of Directors

The National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), the organization that represents more than 55,000 federally-licensed tax professionals, has announced the installation of its 2019-2020 board of directors.

The National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), the organization that represents more than 55,000 federally-licensed tax professionals, has announced the installation of its 2019-2020 board of directors.

Current officers are: President Jerry Gaddis, EA, of Key Largo, FL; Immediate Past President Jean Nelsen, EA, of Palm Springs, CA; President-Elect Donald Rosenberg, EA, of Yorktown Heights, NY; Secretary Angela Radic, EA, of Gahanna, OH; and Treasurer Nancy Lyman, EA, of Rutland, VT.

The rest of the board positions are as follows: Director and At-Large-Member Jake Johnstun, EA, of South Ogden, UT; Director Kathy Brown, EA, of Warsaw, KY; Director Trish Evenstad, EA, of Westby, WI; Director Lori Carpenter, EA, of Bloomington, IN; Director Jeffrey R. Gentner, EA, of Amherst, NY; Director Chris Hardy, EA, of Suwanee, GA; Director Michael Fioritto, EA, CPA, of Oregon, OH; Director Twila Midwood, EA, of Rockledge, FL; and Director David Tolleth, EA, of Holmdel, NJ. 

“NAEA is positioning itself to meet the challenges of the enrolled agent profession given the evolving tax environment. Our leadership understands this and is committed to do the necessary work to advance NAEA’s goals,” said NAEA Executive Vice President Robert Kerr, EA.

Members of the new NAEA Board of Directors were sworn in as part of a series of events held in Washington, D.C. Other events included meetings between NAEA members and lawmakers on Capitol Hill, as well as a member reception that featured an address from David J. Kautter, Assistant Secretary for Tax Policy, U.S. Department of the Treasury.
