Career highlights:
I am a Senior Consultant in the San Francisco office of NERA Economic Consulting, Inc., where I provide economic, financial, accounting, and statistical analyses to clients on a variety of issues. My assignments typically involve the analysis of economic damages in litigation, financial statements, valuations, and financial forecasts. I regularly provide expert reports and deposition testimony as an expert witness in state and federal court cases.
Prior to joining NERA, I worked as an economist at a boutique consulting firm in the San Francisco Bay Area, and analyzed and audited financial accounting data while working at Ernst & Young (now doing business as EY). In addition to my professional experience, I have also published and presented my academic research at several conferences and have served as a peer review referee for academic journal publications.
What are you doing to make a difference in the profession, your community, the world?
I’m very thankful to be where I am, and I try to give back to my community and the profession wherever possible. For example, I recently provided pro-bono consulting services to a local non-profit and served as an expert witness in a frivolous lawsuit against the non-profit. I also aim to make lasting intellectual contributions to our profession by authoring articles in various academic, professional, and/or legal publications on the topic of economics, accounting, and damages in litigation, in addition to presenting on these topics as part of continuing legal education courses for lawyers and continuing professional education for accountants.
