FORVIS has expanded its nonprofit advisory services practice to the Arizona market with the addition of Pete Finley.
Finley has more than 25 years of experience in tax, audit, and nonprofit executive leadership. Prior to joining the firm, Finley worked as chief operating officer for Make-A-Wish International, supporting affiliates in over 50 countries, and held chief financial officer roles for Childhelp and the Association for Child Development.
“It has been a pleasure collaborating and supporting amazing nonprofits with dedicated leaders over the years,” Finley said. “I’m energized by the opportunity to be a thought partner alongside area nonprofit organizations facing numerous headwinds today and who could use additional capacity and insights.”
FORVIS’ nonprofit advisory services practice assists nonprofit organizations in need of additional support in their finance and accounting functions, operational assessments, policies and procedures, board development, grants management, and more. This robust national practice is backed by professionals whose insights are informed by deep industry knowledge and experience. The team works with membership, healthcare, religious, and professional organizations, as well as foundations, museums, community and social services agencies, and education services, including higher education services.
“As trusted advisors, we strive to identify our clients’ critical needs and take a solutions-oriented approach to our work with them,” said Lynn Westergard, market leader of FORVIS’ Phoenix office. “The firm is excited to now provide these advisory services to nonprofit organizations in the dynamic Arizona market.”
