During his tenure, he oversaw and directed many of the major initiatives the AICPA has accomplished, including the digitization of the CPA Exam, and merging the AICPA and CIMA.
AICPA encouraged the Department of the Treasury and the IRS to continue pursuing tax simplification, recognizing the balance needed for competing interests and concerns when drafting guidance.
The 2024 Most Powerful Women in Accounting awards will also be presented on the main stage at Engage 2024 on June 5.

The Gold Medal is the highest honor granted by the AICPA. Since 1944, it has been bestowed upon CPAs whose influence on the accounting profession has been especially notable.
