The Adecco Group, the world’s leading HR solutions company, today announced Chris Gallagher has been promoted to President of Professional Solutions in the U.S., focused on expanding the company’s project-based consulting work for its clients. Gallagher’s new role is part of the Adecco Group’s newly formed U.S. Professional Solutions and Recruitment unit, which joined together its professional services brands, including Accounting Principals, Ajilon, Paladin, Parker + Lynch, Special Counsel, SCI, D4 and EQ, under the leadership of Laurie Chamberlin, the President and head of this portfolio.
As niche, project-based consulting and outsourcing work becomes more prevalent throughout the professional services industry, the Adecco Group is delivering more tailored solutions that are deeply rooted in technology and project management. For Gallagher, this means building out some of the solutions the Adecco Group already offers—like cybersecurity, data breach, eDiscovery and compliance practices—into new business verticals and continuing to evolve the company’s outsourcing solutions even further.
“We are marrying technology, in-demand consultants and project management professionals to deliver innovative solutions that address modern business challenges, from formulating a data breach response to tackling an internal audit or contracts outsourcing” said Gallagher.
Gallagher joined the Adecco Group in 2005 and has moved through various leadership positions at the organization. He initiated the company’s legal solutions division nearly a decade ago and was also instrumental in expanding Special Counsel’s service offerings to eDiscovery and Managed Services, as well as its most recent foray into cybersecurity and data breach offerings for clients. In his new position, Gallagher will oversee a team of over two thousand employees and consultants, guiding the steady global business growth of the company’s Professional Solutions, while launching new strategic initiatives.
“2020 will be a pivotal year for our Professional Solutions practice as we expand across more global markets and continue to launch new services for our clients,” said Chamberlin. “I look forward to seeing Chris flourish in this new leadership position and continue the important work he’s doing to grow our project-based business.”
Gallagher assumed his new role January 1, 2020 and will continue to be based in New York City. Most recently, he served as the Chief Solutions Officer, Global Operations at Special Counsel, where he led the company’s Managed Review and eDiscovery services.
