The American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) is endorsing the permanent disaster tax relief provisions in Title III of the proposed National Disaster Tax Relief Act of 2015.

If adopted, the recommendation would equalize the worthless stock deductions treatment of S corporations with C corporations.

The recipients have demonstrated academic excellence and outstanding leadership skills. Each recipient of the AICPA/Accountemps Student Scholarship award will receive a $10,000 award for the 2015-2016 academic year.
